How to update director contact details on CIPC

Directors must update their contact details on CIPC to receive OTPs for director changes and other transactions.

To update your contact details on CIPC, you will need a CIPC account with a valid customer code (e.g. ABC123).

If you are updating contact details on behalf of a director, you can use the mandates in the template library to authorise this change.

How do I know if I already have a CIPC account?



If you can't remember whether you already have a CIPC account or you've forgotten your customer code, simply go to the CIPC customer registration page and search your ID/passport number. If you have a CIPC account, they will provide you with the customer code. If you don't, create a CIPC account and then continue reading.

How to update director contact details on CIPC



Step 1: Log in with your CIPC customer code and password.

Step 2: Go to new eServices by clicking TRANSACTMORE SERVICES.

Step 3: Click Change Contact Details and select the specific company you want to update your contact details for (unfortunately, you can only do one at a time).

Step 4: Click EDIT/VIEW next to your name, update the contact details and click SAVE (note: you can only update your own details).

Step 5: Review the changes and click CONTINUE, no supporting documents required so you can click CONTINUE.

Step 6: Once again, click CONFIRM and then OK. Your contact details have been updated.
