How to transfer a name reservation to another customer code using a COR document

If you have reserved a name for a company using the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), but you now want to transfer it to another customer code, you can do this manually by following the steps below.

Step 1: Compile the COR11.1 with the following documents

Name, Address and identity number of transferor
Name, Address and identity number of transferee

Step 2: Retrieve the following additional supporting documentation:

Reserved name and reservation number as it appear on the CoR9.4
Certified copies of identity documents standard for both transferor and transferee

**Step 3: ** Send the COR11.1 and other supporting documents to [email protected] and you will be charged a fee of R100 on your customer code
