CIPC Notice 18 of 2024: New customer verification process

CIPC has implemented a new verification process for customers. The new process includes multiple steps to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the information provided. Clients are required to follow the detailed steps for a smooth registration experience:
Login with existing credentials.
Provide the information requested by CIPC.
Once the information has been verified, you will need to update your password.
A confirmation will be sent to your email for verification.
Login with existing credentials.
Provide the information requested by CIPC.
If there are no records of passport details on CIPC's database, you will be given a link to update the passport details through the Foreigner Assurance process.
Once approved, after 48 hours, you may continue with step 2.
Once the information has been verified, you will need to update your password.

Customers with a South African ID number:
Login with existing credentials.
Provide the information requested by CIPC.
Once the information has been verified, you will need to update your password.

Customers who are foreign nationals:
Login with existing credentials.
Provide the information requested by CIPC.
If there are no records of passport details on CIPC's database, you will be given a link to update the passport details through the Foreigner Assurance process.
Once approved, after 48 hours, you may continue with step 2.
Once the information has been verified, you will need to update your password.
