CIPC Notice 18 of 2024: New customer verification process

CIPC has implemented a new verification process for customers. The new process includes multiple steps to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the information provided. Clients are required to follow the detailed steps for a smooth registration experience:
Customers with a South African ID number:
- Login with existing credentials.
- Provide the information requested by CIPC.
- Once the information has been verified, you will need to update your password.
- A confirmation will be sent to your email for verification.
Customers who are foreign nationals:
- Login with existing credentials.
- Provide the information requested by CIPC.
- If there are no records of passport details on CIPC's database, you will be given a link to update the passport details through the Foreigner Assurance process.
- Once approved, after 48 hours, you may continue with step 2.
- Once the information has been verified, you will need to update your password.
- A confirmation will be sent to your email for verification.
