Estimated reading time: 50 seconds

The Companies Act 71 of 2008 (as amended) requires all companies to maintain certain company records for a period of seven years. With a software like InfoDocs you can create professional, good-quality company registers with just the click of a few buttons.

Log in to your InfoDocs account here. If you don’t already have an account, register for a free trial.

Step 1: Select the company whose records you would like to view and from Company Dashboard select the View Company Registers option.

Step 2: You will then be given the option to choose the specific register you would like to view.
Make sure you select the Register of Beneficial Owners:

Step 3: An additional window will open, displaying the register of beneficial owners in PDF format. The register will showcase all beneficial owners associated with this company who possess an ownership interest exceeding 5%.

Please note: On InfoDocs you can pull your beneficial ownership in terms of beneficial interest. To do this you must set up all the applicable shareholding for all related companies.
