How to calculate your B-BBEE level
Each year your company will need to renew its B-BBEE affidavit or certificate. Using InfoDocs, you can calculate your company's B-BBEE level as well as produce the relevant supporting document, automatically.

Step 1: In order to calculate the B-BBEE affidavit, the company shareholding reflected on your portfolio needs to be updated accordingly. If you have not yet done so, go through this article to get your company records set up for free in just 10 mins.
Step 2: Head over to the Company tab, and select Administration
Step 3: Select Calculate B-BBEE Level
Step 4: A window will pop up that prompts you to select which turnover category your company falls into. Select the category based on the turnover of your company’s last financial year. InfoDocs will automatically populate the shareholders according to the percentage ownership reflected on the records in the Shareholders tab.
Step 5: In the drop-down boxes select the race and gender of each shareholder. In the case of a trust or an entity, select the majority racial designation of members or shareholders that make up that particular shareholder’s ownership.
Step 6: Below each shareholder, select whether they are an SA citizen or part of a Designated group. Designated groups include black persons who are unemployed, disabled, youth, military veterans, or people living in rural or underprivileged areas.
Step 7: At the bottom of the window, select the individual that will be signing on behalf of the company to confirm that your company shareholding has been accurately reflected. Click Calculate and you will be taken to a new window that automatically generates the B-BBEE affidavit based on your declaration.
Step 8: Simply download the B-BEE Affidavit and send it to the company representative featured at the bottom of the document to date and sign.
The document must then be certified and signed by a Commissioner of Oaths. Ensure that the stamp satisfies the below criteria:
Certification statement
Full name, designation, practice number, and signature of the Commissioner
Date of signature
