# How to create a CIPC account (with customer code)

**Step 1**: Go to the [CIPC customer registration](https://eservices.cipc.co.za/Customer_register_id.aspx) page, indicate whether you have a South African ID and search your ID/passport number.

* If you already have a CIPC account, they will provide you with the customer code. If you can't remember the password, go to the [password reset](https://eservices.cipc.co.za/Customer_reset.aspx) page and follow the instructions. If you do not receive the reset password link, you will need to submit a [CIPC enquiry](https://enquiries.cipc.co.za/PasswordResetLogin.aspx).

**Step 2**: Capture your personal details, contact information and security code validation (note: these are case sensitive).

**Step 3**: Set a password and log in using the provided customer code.
