How to manage third parties

Third parties allow you to share access to individual companies. This option works particularly well for directors, shareholders and other stakeholders who you would like to grant edit or view-only access to.

Follow these simple instructions:

Log in to your InfoDocs account here. If you don’t already have an account, register for a free trial.

How to invite a third party

Step 1: Once logged in, search for the company you would like to manage and click the row or View icon. From the Dashboard, click the Company tab and then click View Third Parties.

Step 2: After you have selected the View Third Parties option, click on the Invite Third Party located under Actions.

Step 3: Complete the Third Party Details and choose the Access Permissions. After completing these details simply click Invite.

Success! You have just added a Third Party.

How to remove a third party

Step 1: Once logged in, search for the company you would like to manage and click the row or View icon. From the Dashboard, click the Company tab and then click View Third Parties.

Step 2: From the View Third Parties page, select the Remove icon and confirm by clicking OK.

Success! You have just removed a Third Party.

What does Edit Access mean?

Edit Access simply means permissions are given to the third party to not only view but also change company details.

To give your third parties Edit Access, head over to your Company tab and click on View Third Parties.

Once you have selected the View Third Parties option, select Invite Third Party located under Actions.

Enter your Third Party Details and make sure you select the Edit-Access option. Once you have completed these details simply click Invite.

Success! You have just added a Third Party.

What does View Access mean?

View Access simply means the third party has access permissions to view all the company details but does not have permissions to edit company details.

To give your third parties View Access, head over to your Company tab and click on View Third Parties.

Once you have selected the View Third Parties option, select Invite Third Party located under Actions.

Enter your Third Party Details and make sure you select the View option. Once you have completed these details simply click Invite.

Success! You have just added a Third Party.

How to edit a third party

Step 1: Once logged in, search for the company you would like to manage and click the row or View icon. From the Dashboard, click the Company tab and then click View Third Parties.

Step 2: From the View Third Parties page select the Edit option located under Actions.

Step 3: From here on you can change the User Details as well as the Access Permissions to View-Only or Edit access. If you are happy with the changes, select Save.

Success! You have just edited your third party.
