How to add a user to InfoDocs

There are three ways to add user to your InfoDocs records;

  • From the Company tab: Invite anyone to view/edit the selected company
  • From Directors and Shareholder tab: Invite Directors / Shareholders to view selected or all related companies
  • From “Account”: Add a user to edit all companies on your profile

From the Company tab:

If you are looking to share with either your client or the professional managing the selected company records.

Select the company from your profile, go to the Company tab and click, Invite Third Party. Fill in the name, surname, and email address. Select whether you would like to give that person Edit access or View-only rights and click Invite. The user will receive an email from InfoDocs prompting them to sign up and log in to see the records.

From the Directors and Shareholders tab:

If you would like to give a director or shareholder access to the company records with the option to include all the related companies on the portfolio or just the company that is selected.

Select the company from your profile, go to the Director or Shareholder tab and click the individual that you would like to give access. This will take you to a window that summarizes the directorship or shareholder details, on the right-hand side click, Invite Third Party. Fill in the name, surname, and email address. Select whether you would like to give Edit access or View-only rights. Select the checkbox if you would like to include access to All Related Companies and click Invite. The user will receive an email from InfoDocs prompting them to log in to see the records.

From “Account”:

If you would like to add an employee or team member to access all the companies on your portfolio.

Log in to your InfoDocs profile and on the top right of the window click Account. At the bottom right of the window click, Manage Users then Add User. Fill in the name, surname, and email address, and then click Invite. This will send an email to the user to log in to access your portfolio. Note that all users that are invited this way will have edit access on all companies on your portfolio.

You can invite your clients to view their company on InfoDocs in the following ways:

The first option you have to invite a client is via the COMPANY TAB:

Simply select the company you would like to invite your client to, then navigate to the COMPANY TAB. Once you have click on the COMPANY TAB you will see the INVITE THIRD PARTY option under Actions. Once you have clicked on INVITE THIRD PARTY a window will pop up allowing you to invite your client via their email. You will also be given the option to give your client VIEW-ONLY access or EDIT access. Once you have completed all the information simply select INVITE.

The second option we have specifically designed for company directors. In order to invite a company director to view their company on InfoDocs simply locate their company on your InfoDocs portfolio, then navigate your way to the DIRECTORS TAB. once you have clicked on the DIRECTOR TAB select the director you would like to invite to InfoDocs. Once you have clicked on the specific director you must click on the INVITE THIRD PARTY option which can be located on your right-hand side under Actions.
